Why We Built AXION HUB
Our Vision for Reliable After-sales Operations
Every company begins with a different purpose.
For me, AXION HUB was never created simply to repair products. It was created from a long-held belief that reliable after-sales operations should be built through standardized workflows, continuous improvement, and long-term thinking.
My interest in this idea began more than a decade ago while studying economics and business management. Around that time, I started thinking seriously about how businesses create lasting value. I became convinced that the strongest companies are not necessarily the largest ones, but those that continue to grow stronger by building systems, improving their operations, and creating value that lasts beyond the efforts of any individual.
In 2015, I established my own company in Shanghai and began working independently. Over the following years, I was fortunate to work with manufacturers, distributors, and international brands across repair operations, customer support, logistics, and quality management. Every project was different, every customer had different expectations, and every challenge revealed another opportunity to improve the way we worked.
Among those experiences, one project had a particularly profound influence on me.
Working with Profoto gave us something far more valuable than a business opportunity. It gave us the opportunity to test our own ideas in a real operational environment. We learned that reliable after-sales operations should never depend on a few highly skilled individuals alone. Instead, they should be supported by standardized workflows, shared knowledge, clear responsibilities, and systems that allow an entire team to work together consistently.
That project also taught us another important lesson. A well-designed operational system is itself a long-term asset. Unlike individual experience, a standardized system continues creating value as an organization grows. Every improvement made today becomes the foundation for tomorrow’s operations.
Just as importantly, working alongside an international entrepreneurial company allowed us to learn from their management standards, their expectations, and their way of building trust across different countries, teams, and cultures. I remain deeply grateful for that opportunity, because without it, AXION HUB would not be what it is today.
In 2022, I relocated our operational base to Japan. This was not a temporary decision, nor simply an overseas expansion. It was the next step in a vision that had been taking shape for many years. My hope was to combine the practical experience we had accumulated in China with Japan’s emphasis on quality, reliability, and long-term business relationships to build a better operational model for international brands.
Over the years, we have continuously improved not only our repair capabilities, but also the way we operate. We developed our own internal service management platform to support repair tickets, parts management, quotation preparation, workflow coordination, and operational visibility. It was never developed as a commercial product. It was created because our own operations required better tools. Today, it forms the operational foundation of AXION HUB and serves as the starting point for the SaaS platform we are preparing for the future.
Looking back, one lesson has remained with me throughout this journey.
Every meaningful improvement begins with the willingness to learn from others.
We remain deeply grateful to every customer who challenged us, every partner who placed their trust in us, and every team member who chose to improve alongside us. Every partnership has helped us become a better organization. Every project has strengthened our standards. Every lesson has become part of the way AXION HUB operates today.
Our ambition has never been to become the largest repair company. We aspire to become a trusted operational partner that helps manufacturers and brands build reliable after-sales operations across Japan and China. If the experience we have gained can help another company build stronger workflows, better quality, and more sustainable operations, then we believe the trust that others placed in us has been passed forward in the most meaningful way.
Our journey is still continuing. We will continue learning, improving, and building better after-sales operations, one project at a time.
