To support this work, engineers receive training on high-voltage measurement techniques, safe handling procedures and appropriate diagnostic methods before performing advanced repairs.

After extended use, dust can accumulate inside Profoto flash units. This dust can make repair work more difficult and, in some cases, increase the risk of electrical short circuits.

To address this, we developed a dedicated dust removal booth that allows engineers to remove dust from inside the product before repair or maintenance.

The enclosed design helps keep dust contained during the cleaning process, making it possible to perform this work indoors without affecting the cleanliness of the repair area.

Building an Appropriate Technical Environment

Reliable repairs require suitable equipment as well as technical knowledge.

Depending on the product category, engineers may use dedicated testing equipment, optical adjustment tools, ESD protection systems and specialized workstations designed for precision repair.

These facilities help ensure stable working conditions, reduce unnecessary handling risks and improve inspection accuracy throughout the repair process.
