During the TERRA RING project, every repair created valuable technical information.
Instead of viewing each case independently, we analyzed repair records collectively to identify recurring patterns, hidden quality issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.
This approach allowed after-sales service to contribute directly to future product quality.
Many of the operational ideas developed during this project continue to influence the way AXION HUB manages repair data today.
1. The Product Worked—But Something Was Wrong
A product can pass every functional test and still contain hidden production issues.
During the TERRA RING project, engineers encountered a series of devices that appeared to operate normally.
GPS worked.
Touch controls responded correctly.
The operating system functioned as expected.
However, one unexpected problem repeatedly appeared during repair.
The device’s IMEI information had not been correctly registered during manufacturing.
This issue did not immediately affect basic functionality, making it difficult to detect through conventional inspections.
Yet it created serious challenges throughout the product’s lifecycle.
2. Standard Repair Procedures Could Not Explain the Problem
Not every production issue reveals itself during routine inspections.
Conventional repair procedures found no hardware failures.
Software diagnostics reported normal operation.
Functional testing produced satisfactory results.
From a standard repair perspective, the product appeared ready for shipment.
